Karl Chambers CISSP, PMP
President/CEO
Karl is an information security governance, assurance and risk professional. He is certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP), and a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
Having served in the military for twenty years, he retired in the rank of Major and is a graduate of the UK Royal Marines CommandoTraining Center, the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, and Cranfield Institute of Technology, England.
He has over twenty-four years of information security experience in the military, U.S. Federal Government, U.S. Banking and international hospitality sectors.
Over the last eleven years he has successfully led Security Assessment & Authorization projects for numerous applications and General Support Systems, based on the NIACAP and NIST Special Publication 800-37 methodologies.
In 2004 and 2005 he helped the United States Agency for International Aid (USAID) obtain consecutive A+ grades on the U.S. Federal Cyber Security Report Card. One of his more notable achievements is the development of an information security risk assessment methodology, which has been adopted as a standard by a number of US Federal Government Agencies.
Karl is passionate about helping others succeed and is the co-founder and President of Integrity Children’s Fund, a charity focused on educating illiterate teenagers in Jamaica. He enjoys pistol shooting and is a very competitive and often ruthless kalooki, and spades player.
